The brief was not really a kitchen. It was somewhere to have people over.
What the homeowner asked for
A backyard that worked for entertaining, with an outdoor kitchen at the centre of it.
How we built it
Every kitchen we build is designed completely around the space it sits in and the way the household actually cooks, from the grill and the counter run through to refrigeration and cabinetry rated for being outside all year. We answered questions the whole way along rather than only at the start and the handover.
How it finished
The homeowner told us it made their home the perfect spot for hosting, and that they could not picture the backyard any other way.
